Hotel Description

The Hilton Stockholm Slussen is a modern, eight-storey city-centre hotel with views across the river, located 300 metres from Slussen underground station. The 289 guestrooms are all equipped with cable television, clock radios, telephones with voicemail, minibars, trouser presses and irons. Marble bathrooms include hair dryers, and walk-in showers or tubs with showers.
The hotel houses a health club where guests can work out in the gym and then relax in the sauna or spa tub. Chiropractic and massage treatments are also offered. Classic dishes and Swedish specialities are served for lunch and dinner in the Eken Matsal restaurant, while Panorama offers a range of breakfast options, plus Sunday brunch buffets and conference lunches. Guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks, including house-speciality cocktails, and take in panoramic views of the city in the Views Bar, or mingle in the lively Eken Bar. Drinks, snacks and light meals are available via room service 24 hours a day. Those visiting on business can make use of 17 meeting rooms and a 287-seat auditorium. The concierge and front-desk staff are on hand to safeguard valuables, arrange laundry and dry-cleaning services, exchange currency and assist with transporting and storing luggage. The hotel is sited two kilometres from the Vasa Museum, a treasure trove of historical artefacts, whose centrepiece is the skeletal remains of a Swedish warship that sank in 1628. Those looking for a fun day out can ride the rollercoasters at the Grona Lund amusement park, 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. Arlanda International Airport is 40 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

The Hilton Stockholm Slussen is located 300 metres from Slussen underground station. Taxis run from directly outside the terminals (typical fare to the city centre: 400 SEK). When taking a taxi, passengers should speak to a taxi coordinator, found outside the terminal building. There are also bus stations outside terminals 2, 4 and 5. Stockholm has an excellent T-Banen subway system, as well as a bus and streetcar network. Taxi fares tend to be very expensive. Driving directions: From Arlanda Airport, follow the E4 south to Stockholm City. When in the city follow signs to Gamla Stan/Södermalm. Continue to drive towards Slussen, where you will find the hotel facing the water.
